EDUCATION
Caitlin Belland began her dance training in her hometown of Key West, Florida. She has trained at dance schools such as the Orlando Ballet, the Florida Ballet, Festival Ballet Providence, the Rock School of Dance, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Kansas City Ballet. She continued her studies and graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy, training under Katie Dorn, Rachel James, Jurijs Safonovs, and Joseph Morrissey. As a four-year student at Interlochen, she performed in The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Serenade, Before Your Eyes by Yoshito Sakuraba, and Resolve! by Loni Landon. Belland has worked with renowned dancers and choreographers including Shura Baryshnikov, Wendy Whelan, Pablo Francisco Ruvalcaba, Dillon Crossman, Xan Burley, Alex Springer, Kyla Piscopink, and has performed work by the late Paul Taylor. She has danced at Steps On Broadway and Gibney Dance and has performed in spaces such as the New World Center and Carnegie Hall.
She graduated from the University of Florida cum laude in Spring 2024 with her B.F.A. in Dance. During the spring 2023 semester, Belland studied dance in Paris, France through the University of South Florida’s study abroad program. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Management at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. Belland is Co-Artistic Director of Dance Key West, a nonprofit dance company where she is a performer and choreographer. The company supports outreach programs at The Monroe Association for ReMARCable Citizens, as well as within the Key West community. As Assistant Director of Admission at Interlochen, she uses her Interlochen experience to recruit and inspire young artists, helping them embark on their own artistic journeys at Interlochen and beyond.
